About Mandy

I work with people suffering from conditions including stress and anxiety, headaches, low energy levels, disturbed sleep patterns, digestive disorders, frequent colds and low immunity, ear, nose and throat problems and musculoskeletal issues.

I also have experience of working with managing symptoms of Motor Neurone Disease, Polio, Fibromyalgia, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Cystic Fibrosis and Autism.

I have volunteered as part of the Complementary Therapy Team at Sue Ryder in a palliative care setting, carrying out therapies for the patients, alongside their physiotherapist and medical staff.

I undertook further courses including the role of Complementary Therapy in Stress and Anxiety Management, Massage in Cancer, The Hearts Process, and Reflexology and Aromatherapy in Palliative Care. This training was led by Peter Mackereth, lecturer and practitioner in Complementary Therapies at Christie Hospital and University of Salford.

I have also studied Health, Illness and Disease, Epidemiology, Interpersonal Skills, Anatomy and Physiology and Advanced Complementary Therapy.

As part of updating my skills and knowledge I have continued to collect CPD points by attending workshops and seminars.

I access and examine research papers to broaden my knowledge.

My desire to expand in Advanced Reflexology took me to a one to one tuition with Ann Lett, a pioneer who built up schools for Reflex Zone Therapy in the UK, Spain and Israel.

My most recent qualification was in Preconception, Pregnancy and Post Natal Care.  I now work with individuals or couples to improve their chance of achieving natural conception. I support their journey from the preconception stage to post natal care.
